As a reader of just non-fiction for over twenty years, I approached 'Tango' with a sense of trepidation. I don't do novels! However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and, to be honest, didn't want it to end.

After years of running and attending networking events, it was amusing to see them through the eyes of people new to the process. And I recognised so many of the traits of fellow networkers. Anyone who has been through the process of leaving corporate life to set up on their own and trying to find their way around the sea of networks, will enjoy this book.

A networking love story I love reading modern fiction especially if it's funny and the book is difficult to put down. This business novel ticked all the boxes for me. New to networking I found Jonny's journey familiar and it described my induction into the world of networking to a T. Hadn't really appreciated the love angle before though. Fun Finding Out. A  most enjoyable, clever story, packed with recognisable characters. Russ King has a sound and humourous understanding of the nature of humans and their behaviour! But this book is so much more than that. Too true and very funny. I very much enjoyed this 'business novel'. Having never read a business book previously, let alone a novel on the subject, I was intrigued but sceptical. I needn't have been. Russ King has managed to find a deeply amusing way of portraying what is a very, very unnatural (to most normal people!), yet vital thing to do when setting up, running and making a success of a business. When we started our business, it was predominantly through contacts, however to make a success of it required spreading the net further and I would struggle to adequately describe some of means of doing so. I would intstead offer this book. it made me laugh out loud on several occasions both through the author's gift as a storyteller and through bringing back to mind some of the characters we met and situations we found ourselves in. Humorous, light-hearted & informative. What a great novel: as a small business man I shall definitly be networking now that I've read "It takes teamwork to tango". Could not put it down! It may seem strange for me to review a book I have edited, but I found this fun business novel so good that I kept having to stop and go back to edit the last few pages. I'd got so involved with Jonny and Sarah, Cat and Kelly that I had forgotten I had to edit as well as read it.  I was not sure what to expect when I bought this book but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. Not only has Russ written a really good story, he has also managed to include loads of tips for good networking. My networking skills have improved because I read this book. How to enjoy It Takes Teamwork to Tango.  I got a copy of the book from the man himself following a networking meeting and I have met Russ through networking (I must be well above 500 now!) quite a while ago. Instructions are: read the book before you start networking or start a new business. Networking and teamwork are scary words and you either need lots of guts or lots of G&T to walk into a room full of people that - from an outsider's point of view - seem to know each other very well. You start thinking that you are in that room to promote your business and all of a sudden it sounds so silly what you are trying to achieve and you want to escape. When you get to the stage that your feet are trying to pull you outside, stop and think about It Takes Teamwork to Tango and you'll be fine. It is a valid and strong - but very "digestible" - way of realising what a powerful tool it is for you and your business. A Non Networker. I had the pleasure of receiving a copy of It Takes Teamwork to Tango from a friend who had an extra copy. As I don't have a need to network I thought it might not be a beneficial read. I changed my mind as soon as I began reading it. I really enjoyed the whole book, fully appreciated the networking message and was intrigued by the characters relationships and interactions throughout.
